Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
These are helpful to identify the potential safety challenges for the day. It brings it to your attention, as well as all of the subcontractor foreman to make sure they are more aware, reducing potential safety issues.
Safety Inspections
This makes you aware of safety challenges or issues on-site. You can address non-conforming subcontractors and also choose a safety topic for the following week if you see any reoccurring issues. If there are any violations, inform them verbally. If a violation is reoccurring
Tool Box Talks
These are opportunities to train people on how to correctly carryout tasks. Topics can include activities coming up the next week, or cover areas you felt were deficient from the previous weeks safety inspection walk.
Safety Meetings
These are sometimes paired with the toolbox talks. These are required weekly. If subcontractors do not have their own safety program and weekly safety meetings, they are required to come to ours.
Accidents and Injuries
In the unfortunate event that one of our projects has an accident or injury, there are certain procedures that are critical to follow. Please review the video to insure you know the steps if something were to happen on your site.
OSHA, Major Incidents and the Media
There are certain procedures if a major incident occurs, OSHA arrives on-site or the media arrives on-site. Each of these require contacting the office immediately. Please review this video carefully in preparation. Additionally, below are procedures you should be familiar with that are also found within our safety manual.
